Today was chest day. I focused just on the chest and didn’t include any tricep workout because of two reasons. One I was tight on time. And two, I wanted to really focus on doing slow negs and protecting my shoulders. . I have been looking to protect my shoulders during chest exercises by lowering my shoulders down on my back towards my lumbar, sticking my chest out, and arching my lumbar by pressing through my heels to really plant my shoulders in place, firmly into the bench. . I also tried not going below 90 so that I can completely avoid any shoulder engagements.
