December 2013, Atacama Desert, Chile. I’ve been thinking about this place a lot lately.. This trip with Alex was very special to me, it was his first time visiting my mom’s country and this unique desert. It was by far my favorite trip we did together 💛

We suddenly felt really small ✨

A few days ago we had the privilege of staying at the Amangiri. I’ve been obsessed with the Aman hotels for years and I still can’t believe we were there. I didn’t use my camera for the entire stay, just took a couple of photos on my phone and enjoyed every single seconds of this oasis in the desert 🌵

I was observing this surfer sitting in front of the ocean, he stayed there for a while looking at the waves before going in the water. I always wonder how they prepare themselves mentally before surfing in the powerful Hawaiian waves 🌊 They are brave and fearless, I admire that!

Our time spent in Hawaii was more than just a vacation for me.. it was an opportunity to reconnect with myself and feel completely peaceful.
